It is essential that your dog is seen by your veterinary surgeon if you feel he has a behaviour problem so that the vet can rule out any medical problems first.

Once the vet has confirmed that there are no obvious medical reasons for your dogs’ behaviour then we will send you a questionnaire to complete about your dogs’ history. This should then be returned to us before the consultation to allow time for us to look at possible causes for the behaviour; you may be contacted during this time for more detail if required.

Consultations usually last from 11/2 to 2 hours and practical instruction will be given if needed; full customer reports, training plans and vet reports are also supplied. All training plans will be tailored to your individual needs.
Please be aware that some problems may take longer to solve than others. However, in many cases only one visit may be required.

We can help with aggression, boisterous behaviour, barking, separation related issues, noise aversion, destructiveness, pulling on the lead, stealing, food/object guarding and dog to dog problems.

If you are unsure about whether arrange a consultation please contact me.

Some aspects of behaviour training can be enhanced by obedience training and attending appropriate classes from a qualified trainer please go to the "Links" page for further details on this type of training.
